Terrain Warning System: Both terrain and obstacle warning alrets is provided from within the Garmin GNS-530W Unit. Visual Alert is displayed on the GPS's pop-up screen, with aural "Pull-UP" alerts through the audio system. Digital database is easily updated from Garmin website.
Fuel Totalizer: Shadin MiniFlow-L provides super-accurate fuel consumption / fuel remaining / fuel reserves at destination constantly, as well as "low fuel" warnings to prevent fuel exhaustion. Input of GNS-530W Position and Ground Speed is used to compute fuel calculations, as well as reserve fuel at destination. Data can be read both on the Shadin display or on the GNS-530's fuel page. Permits safe and effective partial fueling for max payload trips.
Emergency External Antenna Jack: BNC Connector on Co-Pilot's sub-panel that allows connection of hand-held Comm radio to external antenna so as to permit effective range in a NORDO emergency situation.

Forward Baggage Compartment completely free of any avionics or any shelf for other equipment, permitting easy loading of 300 lbs. This was achieved by strategically distributing all avionics into the radome shelf, below the floor, and into the tail equipment bay area. Includes "Spring Thing" to keep the baggage door open.
