F12 is owned and operated by Rusk County, TX. The airport is located approximately 3 miles west of Henderson. Two runways are available -- 16/34 is 4002' & 12/30 is 3003'. A courtesy car for local use is available if needed, on a first come basis. Local taxi service is also available. We try to maintain the lowest fuel price in the area for Self Service 100LL AvGas. Fuel is available 24/7 with MasterCard or Visa. A total new installation of airfield lighting was recently completed. Lighting on runway 16/34 is now standard, dusk to dawn, with PAPI on both. Runway light intensity can be increased to medium with 5 clicks, or to high with 7 clicks on the mic button. We will have AWOS available by mid December 2007. There are no landing or ramp fees. Tie downs are free. |
